Roger Cardinal, AIA, American-born architect and founding principal of Roger Cardinal Design, a New York-based architecture practice. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He received a Masters of Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University and a BA in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania. Institutional projects include the offices of Allen & Co, Lear Publishing, and City Center, New York City. Residential projects include the Penthouse at the Carlyle Hotel, the Ritz Tower Apartment, the 81st Street Townhouse, the 711 Fifth Avenue Apartment, the 22nd Street Townhouse, the Amagansett Beach House, the Wenger-Danziger Berlin Apartment, the Bovina Barn House, the Taghkanic Farms Master Plan, and the Frances Lear and Herbert Allen Jr. Houses on Gin Lane, Southampton, New York. ~ Roger Cardinal has placed works of art by Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Georgia O’Keeffe, David Hockney, Pablo Picasso, and Mark Rothko, among others.
